Vintage Beauty

Hello, my friends!

Just came back from yet ANOTHER family trip…more to tell you about later this week!

But for now, just a fun & simple layout to share with you…

I’ve been playing with a wonderful new kit from Vintage Street Market

Family Fun Paper Kit

…the “Family Fun Paper Kit”…

The page in the kit was so beautiful as it was, that I didn’t want to add or change too much…

…just added a copy of a beautiful photo of my great-grandmother, Estella (a true beauty all her life—inside and out…)

DSC05946_edited-1 {is any vintage portrait complete without a framing of Platinum Stickles?  I don’t think so!}

…added a little journaling tag from the kit, topped with her name and a few fabulous vintage buttons from my button stash…

…cut out and popped up additional images of the toiletries…

…and powder—had to glitter them up a bit, too, of course!

And that’s about it!

Sometimes a page—or a person—is perfect…just as it is!

Hope your day is wonderful…where will you find beauty today?

  1. You always add that extra special touch to everything you do with sparkles and stickles. :) My Mammaw's name was Estelle. Hope your day is wonderful. Tammy

  2. Hi Julie,
What a pretty little paper line, I must check them out. Beautiful page, with your stunning great-grandmother. Funny, I remember my grandmother always had a powder compact in her purse. I used to love the smell of it, when opened. Have a fabulous day!

  3. Hi Julie, another sweet and beautiful card?-
Your great- grandmother was so kind looking, too- and I love your extra touches of golden glitter, and buttons.

  4. You & I have been racking up the miles my friend!!!! But, yet you have created another adorable memory page. Do your girls appreciate your keeping of the family history? I HOPE SO! HUGS!

  5. Love all this vintage beauty I found over here today. Glitter just makes everything so happy. Have a great week...xoxxo

  6. This is absolutely gorgeous! What a great idea to use this fabulous Family Fun Paper Kit from Vintage Street Market for showcasing your great-grandmother. I just received this kit after winning it, and I can't wait to use it. I'm going to use one of the pages, Giddy Up, for my grandson which we call "Roo", short for Buckaroo.

I've been able to find some old pictures of my relatives on online historical pages, so this awesome kit will be a perfect way to show-off these pictures. I have some buttons from my grandmother which will be another perfect touch to complete these pages. Thanks so much for the inspiration for what will surely turn out to be a wonderful album .

  7. Fabulous ~ what a wonderful post.....I love your blog, such stylish elegance!

  8. Always find beauty here Julie!
Did you see the blog where she made vintage paper dolls similar to the image you are showing...just wonderful!

  9. So beautiful Julie!
    Have a wonderful day!
    Hugs Hanne
