Good Friends

Good morning, my friends!

What a beautiful holiday morning!  Hope you all have some wonderful plans for the day…

Just a couple of things to share with you today…I made a couple of cards this weekend just for fun…things to have on hand when needed for friends.

First:

I love this fun retro image from Crafty Secrets’ “Girlfriends” Creative Scraps…a few friends all excited about a new mix to “Bake Your Own Man”…a good idea?

“Good friends don’t let you do stupid things…alone”, says the sentiment—perfect!

The pretty, gauzy flower is from Prima, but I removed the button they had in the center and put my own gorgeous vintage button there…A bit of sparkle, some ribbon & that’s about it!

Another great image from the “Girlfriends” Creative Scraps…this one just makes me happy.  I love the soft colors on this beautiful flapper…“What’s up?” is all that’s needed for a card sent just to check up on a friend…

I used a plain, creamy flower—can’t remember who made it—sorry!—and spritzed it with “Cherub Pink” Glimmer Mist…just look at that beautiful color and sparkle!

Well, that’s all I have for you today…short and sweet!  We’re off in just a little bit to the beach in Monterey to join some friends for the day…should be just gorgeous out by the water today!

Enjoy the day with family and friends, and I’ll see you soon with something new…

Julie
