Do you sometimes wonder if you’re doing any good during the day? If you’re making a difference?
I think sometimes we feel we need to wait for big things to happen before we can do something significant enough to help someone…
…but I’m starting to realize that’s really not true.
Sometimes, it’s the little things we do each and every day that make the most difference to someone.
We may not even know that we’ve done the very thing they needed most…
…it just may be that all they needed that day was a smile. The touch of your hand. The twinkle in your eye telling them you are so very happy to see them.
Then, if we’re paying attention, I think we’ll know when something greater needs to be done for someone…
But, for today, just keep your eyes open. And smile.
