Moments

Do you ever feel like the moments of your life are speeding by at lightning speed these days?  I sure do!

So many things to do, to enjoy—to live—that I’m finding the only creative thing I have time for at the moment is to play in my art journal whenever I sit for those fleeting quiet spells…

Pages I’ve already painted & prepared are just waiting for me--

I know my days will calm down all too soon--my daughters are almost grown, and their lives will lead them out of our door…but for now, they are here…

…so I will enjoy the rush of days.  The hectic pace.  The joy of it all--and I will savor those few quiet moments.  And create.

    We've been on Spring Break and I've enjoyed the slow pace so much. My oldest son ran off with friends to Cyprus and comes back Friday morning. His first trip without a chaperone. Yikes! But he's off to college this year so it had to happen sooner or later. Glad to see you are stealing some precious moments to create. Best wishes, Tammy
