My Girl

IMG_7862

You’re just going to have to forgive me today for being a very, very proud momma…

My beautiful middle daughter graduates from high school this week…

IMG_7197-1 {I love the beautiful capturing of my sweet photographer child who doesn’t like to be photographed herself!}

…and I couldn’t be more pleased with the young lady she’s turned out to be…

IMG_7768 {these photographs capture so beautifully her love of photography and reading…and orange sneakers!}

…for the good choices she makes, the friends that she keeps, the talents she has…

…the love that she shares…

IMG_7885 {with my youngest daughter, who was along for the photo shoot at the beautiful, old San Juan Bautista Mission}

…the future she’s planning, the values she believes in, her faith, her hope…

…her beauty, her smile…just her. Every little bit of her.

I love you, my Rosie.

{And I’m so grateful to our wonderful photographer friend (my “adopted daughter”) who captured her so beautifully & so naturally—Thank-you, Elizabeth.}

  6. Oh wow Julie -- congratulations to both you and your beautiful daughter. You hardly seem old enough to have a daughter who is graduating from high school. Gorgeous young lady with gorgeous hair and great photos too. You paid her a wonderful tribute. The apple does not fall far from the tree I have been told.

  7. Julie congratulations to your beautiful daughter! Clearly the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. I have been away for a while so haven't been able to read and comment. I have a lot to catch up on, but I will do it in time. I always love all that you share. Your talents, your photos, your creations, your words. I just adore you. Love and hugs from sunny and warm UK! Wish you were here! xxoo

  10. Congratulations!! Time flies. One minute we are walking them to preschool and the next we are watching them receive their high school diploma, then their college degree and so on! In the blink of an eye! They make us proud!

  13. I think this was a beautiful post. Moms need to take time to let the world know how proud they are of their children. The photos are wonderful and your daughter looks amazing. Congrats to her on the graduation and to brighter futures.

  14. Congratulations to your daughter on her graduation, it is the season for proud parents. The stacked novel photo with the orange sneakers was really well done. This will be a really unique and professional senior collection. It seems like that, with most shutterbugs, they like to capture the world and normally not be in the pictures.
