A Little Self-Reflection

DSC02043_edited-1

My third journal is going strong…you’ve already seen a bit of it before Christmas, and I thought I’d share a bit more with you today…

DSC02045_edited-1 {one of my favorite quotes from one of the wisest of women}

A few thoughts to help me out at the beginning of this wonderful New Year…thoughts from those FAR wiser than myself…

But first—my opening page--

…just to get the ball rolling…

And a reminder from the ever-amazing C.S. Lewis:

…and this wonderfully unusual vintage photograph that inspired a little self-reflection in me…

Just a few things to start me off in the right direction as we launch into another busy, exciting, filled-with-wondrous-things year!

  11. Your third journal -- wow, Julie -- you truly are carrying on the tradition of journaling life and thoughts just like your family has done for so very long. And one day someone will cherish and treasure your journals. A blog friend wrote a lovely article for her local newspaper about handwriting. You should check it out:

    I know you are so glad your foremothers left their writings and keepsakes for you.
    Happy new year and best wishes, Tammy
