Hello, my friends!
Whew! It’s been a while since I’ve posted…life’s been bustling along here. Just to fill you in, the day after we returned from Disneyland, my beautiful teenage niece came to live with us for a while. Two days later, my youngest daughter got all four wisdom teeth removed…
…and the next day, my wonderful parents came to visit for the rest of the week…not much time for blogging!
But all good things, and here we are…
A little creating time came my way last night—aaahhhh, did it ever feel good to get crafty again!
A sweet little card—just the perfect size to stick in a spring bouquet of flowers for a friend, perhaps…
…a tiny, vintage button perched on top of a seam binding bow finishes it up…easy peasy!
And another. I couldn’t get “Peeps” out of my head when I saw that sweet little chick standing there, just waiting to be noticed…
…a bit of sparkle on the egg was all the darling vintage image needed…
…and one solitary old millinery flower, barely tinged with some distress ink to tint it just the right color…and that’s about it!
I sure hope you have a little time to create something springy and fun this week!
See you soon with something new…
Julie

Julie...I love your "Peeps"! This is just darling! It sounds like you have been busy, but all good fun! Ouch, except for the wisdom teeth! Hope you are having a wonderful spring!

I missed you! But so glad to hear you had time to spend with your family! Love your craft projects! {especially the one with the duck with her arm around the little bunny} (I'm such a sap!) ;D
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to spend time with your parents. I miss mine so much...
ReplyDeleteI hope your daughter has recovered now. What a brave bunny having them all out at once.
Both cards are divine...I certainly noticed that cute little chick.
Now for my confession Julie because I have to tell you I've never made a card! Shocking I know and maybe something I should rectify soon.
You're certainly inspiring so there isn't any excuse really. :D
I thought perhaps I might have missed a post. Your pins keep me occupied. This one is just as sweet. I can just picture your girls bringing them out years from now and loving them all over again..smiles..Renee

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful as always Julie! You have such a lovely busy life with so many family members weaving themselves in and out of it. If I was so blessed I don't think I'd ever get on the computer! I love all that you do. You are a treasure! xxoo
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, You are always such an inspiration to me. I love your work. I hope your daughter is doing well after the wisdom teeth removal. Last fall I had my two youngest children get theirs out and one did great with it and the other did poorly and got the dry socket. I really would love for you to see my latest project posted as I used an image from Crafty Secrets. It was made for the panoramic Easter egg swap I was involved with. I hope you have a very lovely April Conference weekend ahead dear friend!
ReplyDeleteyou HAVE been busy. Love these easter cards. You can't look at them, or even better yet, GET one of those and not smile and feel happy all over.
