Home Again…and a Winner!

Hello, dear friends!

Aaaahhhh!  So good to be home again!  We were gone for exactly a month…don’t think we’ve ever been away that long before!

Had such a wonderful time with our family…I miss them already…I’ll tell you more of our adventures later!

Just popping in today to share a couple more quick & easy projects using Crafty Secrets’ brand new “Mini Vintage” Creative Scraps…

…and to reveal the winner of my giveaway!

Here’s my first little charm…

Such a sweet little vintage angel resting on the moon…

…this was SO simple!  Just cut out your chosen image, place it on the charm (these charms and necklaces will be available through Crafty Secrets)…pop on the matching acrylic top…and that’s it!

(I DID have to add a little Platinum Stickles around the edge, of course!)

Here’s my next one…

…a definite theme with me last night…another vintage sweetie sitting on the moon….this is one of my all-time favorite Crafty Secrets images—I just LOVE it!

I backed it with a piece cut from the backside of the “Mini-Vintage” Creative Scraps, cut out the little girl and words, aged everything with “Vintage Photo” Distress Ink, glued them in place…added a bit of Platinum Stickles around the edge…and voila’!

Now here’s the fun part!  The backing for this one was from a “pocket watch” from Tim Holtz—fabulous!

I then added some real silver shavings glitter—a bit of a shaker necklace!  (Sorry about all the shadows—a bit cloudy out this morning!)

    Your pieces of jewelry are adorable. I can't wait until some more of those CS pages come out.

    Julie, camping in the mountains with all those girls and women sounds like a great event. Hope you really enjoy yourself with your daughters and your friends.

    We are visiting friends in the Black Hills where we used to live. Having a super time. The weather is beautiful!
